Recovery Training Course

1-Day Face-to-Face Course

8:30am – 4:00pm

This non-accredited, hands-on course provides participants with basic recovery training, focusing on how to safely perform vehicle recoveries in off-road conditions.

You’ll learn how to:

• Identify and use recovery equipment correctly

• Match equipment to specific recovery situations

• Inspect vehicles and gear for safety

• Perform practical recoveries using straps, boards, chains, spades, and more

• Apply key safety and WHS procedures

A Statement of Attendance is issued upon completion.

Application of the course

Ideal for individuals, staff, or teams operating in remote or off-road environments where vehicle recovery may be required. Perfect for workplace training or personal 4WD skill development.
Suitable for 4WD vehicles with or without a vehicle-mounted winch.

Pre-Requisites:

None, although prior 4WD experience is recommended.
