PNL 4WDriving’s Intermediate 4WDrive and Recovery plus Winching Course is a comprehensive 3-day training program that builds on foundational 4WD and recovery skills by adding winching techniques, expanded terrain navigation, and more advanced recovery scenarios.
The course includes a practical evening session on Day 1, allowing additional time for focused instruction and hands-on learning.
You’ll gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to:
Select and use the correct range, gear, and techniques for a variety of off-road conditions
Drive safely over rugged terrain, inclines, and water crossings
Apply both basic and winch-based recovery techniques using appropriate equipment
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance in off-road settings
Assess recovery situations and make safe, informed decisions in the field
