First Aid (Remote) Course

2-Day Face-to-Face Course

1st Day 8:30am – 5:30pm
1st Evening 7:00pm – 10:00pm
2nd Day 8:30am – 5:00pm

This course covers the skills, knowledge, and performance outcomes required to provide first aid in remote or isolated areas, where access to emergency services may be delayed. You’ll learn how to manage a casualty over an extended period of time until medical assistance arrives or evacuation can be arranged.

This course is ideal for individuals who may need to provide first aid in remote, off-grid, or hard-to-access locations. It is particularly relevant for:

• Those working or volunteering in remote or isolated workplaces

• Outdoor activity leaders and guides

• 4WD drivers, bushwalkers, and participants in unguided remote-area trips

• Anyone taking on a leadership or support role in outdoor recreation or wilderness settings
